PROFESSER is an action verb with the following meanings:
> to strive, aspire
> to profess
> to declare, affirm one's faith
> to dedicate oneself
Professers are covenant makers and covenant keepers who strive daily to grow their faith in Jesus Christ. They intentionally set aside time each and every day to take steps that invite the Holy Spirit to guide and bless them.
Great faith has a short shelf life; it must be nourished daily. By being faithful to the truth and light received, God gives more truth and light.

When we covenant with God to do His Will and act accordingly, He promises blessings. These blessings come through the power of the Holy Spirit and include the fruits of the Spirit; namely, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As these Christlike attributes are nourished daily by intentional righteous actions, they will grow within us and we will mature spiritually and become more and more like Jesus Christ.
A covenant is a sacred agreement between God and his children. In making a covenant, God sets the terms and He promises a blessing for obedience to particular commandments. If we choose to obey the terms of the covenant, promised blessings are received.
